On November 14, 2023, the Institute for the Handicapped and Backward People hosted a heartwarming celebration at their Special School for the Disabled in honor of Children’s Day. This special occasion aimed to recognize the unique abilities and resilience of the students despite their challenges.

The school’s auditorium was adorned with vibrant decorations, creating an atmosphere of joy and inclusivity. The highlight of the event was a series of performances by the students, showcasing their talents in poetry, music, dance, and drama. Smiles adorned the faces of both children and staff as they reveled in the accomplishments of these extraordinary individuals. Various engaging activities were organized, emphasizing the importance of play and creativity in the holistic development of every child. On Children’s Day at IHBP, differently-abled students were joyfully treated to a special lunch featuring rice, chicken, and rasogollas. A delicious celebration to cherish their unique spirits.
